On the eve of the Champions League playoff first leg against AS Monaco, the Ousmane Dembélé situation was quickly closed by the Paris Saint-Germain staff. Despite the media buzz that followed the defeat in Rennes and the remarks about overly individual play, Luis Enrique chose to play it down.

Asked again during the press conference, the Paris coach reminded reporters that turbulence is part of everyday life around the club and should not be treated as a major issue. According to him, PSG’s media environment magnifies every statement, but the dressing room remains focused on the European objective.

The same tone came from João Neves, who stepped in to support his teammate. The Portuguese midfielder stressed the positive atmosphere within the squad and said Dembélé’s message was meant to strengthen the collective spirit rather than single anyone out. He added that the group feels ready for the upcoming match and fully united ahead of this decisive fixture.

The shared message is clear: no crisis, no divisions, just a squad fully mobilized before a crucial showdown.
