As Paris Saint-Germain prepares for two decisive finals—the Coupe de France and the UEFA Champions League—the club’s top brass is already deep into planning a sweeping summer shake-up, according to PSG Inside Actus on X.
Several players currently out on loan won’t be retained. Randal Kolo Muani is unlikely to stay at Juventus under current conditions, though an extended loan deal is being discussed. Marco Asensio is closing in on a €15 million move to Aston Villa. Milan Škriniar, enjoying his time at Fenerbahçe, wants to stay in Turkey. Renato Sanches and Carlos Soler are also not in PSG’s plans, with the latter attracting interest from England.
Core Players on the Edge
Head coach Luis Enrique and sporting advisor Luis Campos are open to redefining the team’s leadership core. Marquinhos, long a club symbol, could leave if a strong offer arrives—particularly from Saudi Arabia. Kang-In Lee has failed to convince, while Gonçalo Ramos may also depart due to his tactical incompatibility with Enrique’s style. Even Lucas Hernandez and Lucas Beraldo may be sold if PSG secures new defensive signings.
Several returning loanees face uncertain futures. Gabriel Moscardo is set for another loan spell. Ilyes Housni, following stints abroad and at Le Havre, has yet to impress. Goalkeeper Arnau Tenas seeks more minutes and could go on loan. Promising defender Yoram Zague (18) is also being eyed for a temporary move.
Young Stars Set to Leave
Youth product Axel Tape has rejected a pro contract despite PSG’s promises. The talented full-back is being courted by Tottenham, Arsenal, Strasbourg, and Bayer Leverkusen and will likely leave for free—another blow to the club’s development strategy.
According to RMC, U19 captain Oumar Camara (18) will join Rangers after scoring 7 goals and delivering 4 assists this season. Meanwhile, fellow striker Mahamadou Sangaré (18) is heading to Manchester City.
A New-Look PSG on the Horizon
This summer promises to be one of transformation. Luis Enrique envisions a more fluid, mobile, and tactically adaptable squad. While reinforcements are expected, it’s the wave of exits that will shape the foundation of PSG’s 2025–26 campaign.
