World Cup 2026: Visa Offers Early Ticket Access for Its Cardholders

The road to the 2026 FIFA World Cup has already begun! Nearly a year ahead of the tournament, Visa — the official payment technology partner of FIFA and a global leader in digital payments — has launched an exclusive ticket presale lottery for its cardholders.

From September 10 to 19, Visa credit, debit, and prepaid cardholders around the world will be able to enter a random draw for early access to tickets — long before the general public sale opens.

The announcement was made at the Visa Payments Vault in Washington, D.C., during a symbolic event attended by government representatives from the U.S., Canada, and Mexico — the three host nations — to celebrate the unifying power of football.

The World Cup Starts Now

“We want to give fans a unique experience. This draw could give a few lucky ones the chance to witness one of the greatest events of their lives,” said Stefano M. Stoppani, Country Manager for Visa Italy.

Beyond ticket access, Visa also aims to support local businesses and communities across North America, ensuring that the economic impact of the World Cup lasts well beyond the final whistle.

One thing is clear: the 2026 World Cup starts now.
