The decision has been made. Juventus have officially parted ways with head coach Igor Tudor, bringing an abrupt end to the Croatian’s short spell in charge of the Old Lady.
After a disastrous run of eight matches without a win in all competitions, the club confirmed the coach’s dismissal in an official statement released on Monday.
“Juventus announce that Igor Tudor has been relieved of his duties as first-team coach, along with his staff. The club has temporarily appointed Massimiliano Brambilla, who will take charge of Wednesday’s match against Udinese,” the statement read.
Interim coach while the club searches for a new manager
Tudor, who arrived with the ambition of reviving the team, couldn’t stop the decline. With just 12 points from 8 games, Juventus currently sit in a disappointing 8th place in Serie A.
Brambilla will act as interim coach while the club searches for a new manager capable of steering Juve back to the top.
