Ousmane Dembélé wants to see Kylian Mbappé lift the Ballon d’Or — and judging by the Real Madrid star’s start to the season, that dream might not be far off.

Freshly crowned Ballon d’Or 2025, Dembélé hasn’t forgotten his old teammate. After PSG’s 7-2 demolition of Bayer Leverkusen in the Champions League, the French winger sent a classy message to his friend.

With 10 goals in 9 La Liga games, Mbappé is already lighting up Spain. To take over from Dembélé in 2026, he’ll need to shine in the Champions League — and make his mark at the 2026 World Cup with France.

The message is clear: the next Ballon d’Or might just stay between friends.
