Cristiano Ronaldo has made it clear: a return to Sporting CP is not in his plans. As he approaches the end of his contract with Al Nassr in June, the Portuguese superstar is reportedly considering extending his stay in Saudi Arabia.

At 40 years old, Ronaldo remains firm about his decision to stay away from the Portuguese league. “It doesn’t make sense. Portugal is my country, of course, but everything has its time and limits,” he told Canal11.

Could this mean another year in the Saudi Pro League, a final shot at the 2026 World Cup, and then retirement? The next chapter in CR7’s legendary career remains to be seen.
