Adrien Truffert has turned an important page in his young career. On Monday, the 23-year-old French left-back officially left Stade Rennais, his boyhood club, to join Bournemouth in the Premier League.

Bournemouth confirmed the signing on Monday afternoon. The French U21 international has signed a five-year contract. The transfer fee is €17 million (approximately £14.4 million), including €3.5 million in difficult-to-reach bonuses (around £2.65 million), according to French media.
Vice-Olympic champion with France in 2024, Truffert had attracted interest from abroad for months.
