“The best coach in the world is at PSG,” says Jordi Alba, former Barcelona and Spain teammate of Lionel Messi.
Ahead of the Club World Cup Round of 16 clash between Inter Miami and PSG, Alba didn’t hold back his praise for Luis Enrique. Now playing under Tata Martino, Alba still holds deep admiration for the Paris boss, whom he worked with at both Barça and La Roja: “He’s the best — not just as a coach, but as a person. He’s a phenomenon.”
“PSG is the most complete team right now”
For Alba, Paris Saint-Germain sets the standard in modern football: “They’re the best team in the world right now — tactically sharp, technically gifted, with midfielders who control the tempo… it’s a frightening team.”
A glowing tribute to Luis Enrique, and a strong message ahead of a blockbuster clash. PSG vs. Messi — and who better to counter the Argentine legend than the coach who once shaped his game?
