The group stage is over, and now the Club World Cup enters its knockout phase—with fireworks guaranteed.
Paris Saint-Germain will meet Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami this Sunday at 6pm in a highly anticipated clash both on and off the pitch. Should PSG win, they’ll face either Flamengo or Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals, with that match kicking off at 10pm the same day.
Also on PSG’s side of the bracket, Real Madrid will take on Juventus on Tuesday, July 1 at 9pm, while Borussia Dortmund are set to face CF Monterrey in the early hours of Wednesday (3am kickoff).
Tensions rising on both sides of the bracket
The other half of the draw promises just as much drama. Palmeiras and Botafogo will get things started on Saturday at 6pm, followed by a mouth-watering Benfica–Chelsea showdown at 10pm. On Sunday, Inter Milan face Fluminense at 9pm. Later, Manchester City take on Al-Hilal in the early hours of Tuesday (3am).
From Paris to Riyadh, via Udine and São Paulo, the Club World Cup is heating up. The stage is set—and the contenders are ready.
