Inter Miami is facing harsh criticism as former player Mateusz Klich, who played in the MLS from 2023 to 2024, describes his experience as a complete disaster. Now back in Poland, the Cracovia midfielder didn’t hold back when discussing the club and its star player, Lionel Messi.

Klich appeared on the Polish show Foot Truck, where he stated, “I do not recommend Miami as long as Messi is there. It’s a disaster. People are leaving, including coaches and physiotherapists. The organizational situation is poor, and Messi’s father is running the club. Everyone speaks Spanish, and nothing can happen without their consent.”

Klich’s comments paint a stark picture of a club that appears to be tightly controlled by the Messi family, creating a challenging environment for anyone outside their inner circle.

His remarks contrast sharply with the image of happiness that Messi projects, as the Argentine superstar seems to be thriving in Florida. In fact, Messi is reportedly preparing to extend his contract beyond December 2025, suggesting he is in no rush to leave.

However, Klich’s criticisms reveal that not everyone shares Messi’s positive outlook. For those who are not part of the Messi clan, daily life at Inter Miami has become increasingly unbearable, with Klich suggesting that the club’s management is fundamentally flawed.

It raises questions about the long-term sustainability of a club that seems to be operating under such a tight grip.

Despite the turbulence described by Klich, Messi continues to enjoy his time in the United States, highlighting a possible disconnect between the star player’s experiences and those of his teammates. The former Leeds player’s comments may resonate more after Messi eventually departs, as is often the case when the stars leave and the truth comes out.
