More than two years without playing… and Paul Pogba could finally step onto a Ligue 1 pitch. The coach of AS Monaco has made an encouraging announcement.
At 32 years old, the AS Monaco midfielder is getting very close to a return and could even make his big debut for Monaco on Saturday (7 PM) against Paris FC.
“It is possible that he will be reintegrated into the group, yes. Paul has one more training session tomorrow (Thursday) and if he feels good, we could see him again, and we would be in a process that we had set. It wouldn’t be illogical to see him,” said Monaco coach Sébastien Pocognoli on Wednesday at a press conference.
After an endless period of absence, Pogba is finally seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. The Rock is just waiting for him.
