Olympique Lyonnais have pulled off a nice move by bringing in Endrick for six months on a paid loan worth €1 million from Real Madrid. And the young Brazilian has been congratulated… by his direct competitors.
Relief or genuine support? Endrick’s six-month spell at Lyon has not left Madrid’s stars indifferent. After Karim Benzema, it was Kylian Mbappé who reacted in his own way. On Instagram, the Frenchman dropped a message as brief as it was direct, in a flashy street-style gang tone: “Go on, wesh, good luck.”
Madrid stars react to Endrick’s move
Author of a blistering start to the season with 29 goals in 24 matches in all competitions, Mbappé is not unrelated to the Brazilian’s lack of playing time, which pushed him to gain experience elsewhere. Lyon appears to be the ideal step.
Very close to Endrick, Vinícius Júnior also sent a strong message: “My brother Bob! Good luck! We’ll be waiting for you back here soon.” The tone is set. In Lyon, Endrick will finally get minutes. In Madrid, they are already waiting for him. A loan, but not a goodbye.
