The LFP’s disciplinary committee has come down hard. After his virulent comments about refereeing following Lille’s 0–2 defeat to Rennes on January 3, LOSC president Olivier Létang has been handed a massive suspension.
A heavy sanction for Létang, suspended until March 2026. The Lille executive is banned “from access to the bench, the officials’ dressing rooms and from any official function” until March 31, 2026 inclusive, following the revocation of his existing suspended penalties.
A long ban that sidelines Lille’s president
The punishment is even reinforced until February 15, 2026: before, during and after matches, Létang will no longer be allowed to access the players’ dressing rooms, the pitch, the tunnel and the corridors leading to these sensitive areas.

The measure will take effect from January 20, that is, after the match against PSG scheduled for January 16.
Also cited for criticism of refereeing, Lille coach Bruno Genesio has escaped with a lighter punishment: one match suspension to be served, plus one suspended.
