Olympique Lyonnais want to secure the future of Corentin Tolisso. Already under contract with the club until June 2027, the midfielder could soon see his deal extended.
There is no question of letting Corentin Tolisso leave. Things have been improving for OL since the start of 2026, notably with the arrival of Endrick. Lyon intend to keep their momentum going by securing their key players, especially their captain.
Lyon Aim to Extend Captain Corentin Tolisso
Speaking on RMC, technical director Matthieu Louis-Jean clearly stated the club’s intention: to keep a central figure in the dressing room and a captain considered essential to the project. A respected leader, Tolisso represents the backbone of the squad.
Tolisso is viewed as a positive leader. “Corentin is an important player in the dressing room. He is our captain, a positive leader. He is fully committed to the club’s project. We want to continue this project with him,” said the Lyon executive. Talks are expected in the coming weeks to move forward on this priority case, as Lyon want to lock down their midfield leader.
