FC Versailles has launched a massive marketing campaign around its new “Gold” jersey. The club will include real gold bars in some of the orders placed by supporters.
In practical terms, gold bars weighing between 5 and 20 grams will be randomly inserted into packages linked to this special jersey, with a value that can reach up to €2,920. It’s a rare initiative designed to support the launch of this gold-themed kit.
A Gold-Themed Campaign for Supporters
The program does not stop there: a large treasure hunt is also scheduled for May, with a gold bar worth an estimated €1,474 as the prize. As an additional bonus, spectators attending the Versailles–Sochaux match will be automatically entered into a draw for a chance to win a Louis d’or valued at around €789.
The operation is being carried out in partnership with Godot & Fils, a French specialist in gold and precious metals. It’s a campaign built to make an impact — and to give supporters a shot at striking gold.
