Two days before Monaco–PSG, both coaching staffs are dealing with a wave of absences. Between long-term injuries, muscle setbacks, and new issues picked up during the latest preparation matches, the available options are limited and squad rotations are heavily reduced on both sides.
Paris has managed to limit the damage overall but is weakened in midfield, while Monaco arrive with a very crowded treatment room and a defensive unit that has been particularly hard hit. As a result, the probable lineups remain highly fluid.
Multiple Key Players Ruled Out Or Doubtful
In total, at least ten absences are already confirmed, with several regular starters still uncertain. Final decisions are expected at the last minute following medical exams and on-field fitness tests.
For PSG, the confirmed absentees are Quentin Ndjantou (thigh surgery, out for several weeks), Fabian Ruiz (knee, out since January), and Senny Mayulu (calf). Ousmane Dembélé (discomfort after Rennes) and João Neves (shoulder knock) remain doubtful.
For Monaco, the confirmed absentees include Mohammed Salisu (long-term injury, not in the UEFA squad), Takumi Minamino, Paul Pogba, Lukas Hradecky, Eric Dier, Pape Cabral, and Kassoum Ouattara. Maghnes Akliouche (hip), Lamine Camara (Achilles tendon), and Christian Mawissa (not yet back in full training) are still uncertain.
