Good news for Jérémy Jacquet. The young Stade Rennais defender, who suffered a shoulder injury in early February, successfully underwent surgery this Thursday morning in Paris.
Jérémy Jacquet’s surgery is now complete. Injured during the trip to RC Lens on February 7, the 20-year-old was forced to leave the pitch. The operation went smoothly, bringing relief both in Rennes and in Liverpool.
Recovery Begins as Liverpool Transfer Looms
Jacquet will now begin his recovery phase. However, his season with Rennes now appears to be effectively over.
The French defender is set to join Liverpool FC next summer following a transfer reportedly worth €70 million. He will then discover the Premier League, aiming to return in top form for this new challenge.
