At Real Madrid, the salary hierarchy could shift in the coming months. According to L’Équipe, Vinicius Junior is set to surpass Kylian Mbappé in terms of fixed salary.
A potential issue brewing at Real Madrid? Vinicius may soon earn more than Mbappé. Currently, both attacking stars share a similar base salary, estimated at around €2.67 million per month. However, the situation is expected to change quickly due to the Brazilian international’s contractual progression.
Vinicius Set to Overtake Mbappé in Fixed Salary
The French outlet reports that Vinicius’ salary increases with each passing season. This progression, combined with a contract extension that is well underway, should allow him to overtake Mbappé in fixed salary as early as next season.
This salary upgrade reflects Real Madrid’s intention to secure one of its key players, already central to the club’s sporting project.
Mbappé, however, is expected to remain the highest-paid player overall thanks to a highly favorable bonus structure. While Vinicius may soon lead in fixed salary, the French forward will still top the club’s financial hierarchy in total earnings.
