Real Madrid was quick to respond. In an official statement released this Friday, the club firmly denied reports from Cadena SER suggesting the imminent arrival of a sporting director.
The Madrid-based club left no room for doubt: no sporting director, in any form, is set to join the organization. “The information broadcast by the program El Larguero is completely false,” the statement read.
Real Madrid Reaffirms Stability in Its Leadership
This clear clarification comes after the Spanish radio station claimed that Real Madrid wanted to strengthen its structure with a new key executive figure.
The club also took the opportunity to defend its current organization, highlighting the exceptional results achieved in recent years. It praised the work of its sporting management, which has led to one of the most successful periods in its history, including six European Cups in ten years.
The message is clear: no internal revolution is on the agenda in Madrid—at least until the end of the season.
