Tension is reportedly growing around Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé. Initially expected to be part of the squad for the Clasico against FC Barcelona, the French striker eventually complained about thigh discomfort following the team’s final training session.

After Madrid’s 2-0 defeat at Camp Nou, coach Álvaro Arbeloa remained extremely vague regarding the condition of his player. “Will he play again this season? I don’t know. We’ll see how his pain evolves,” the Real Madrid manager admitted, without offering any real certainty about Mbappé’s return.

According to this version of events, Kylian Mbappé discovered he would start the match on the bench against Barça. A few minutes later, the French international reportedly left training after saying he had suffered a muscular injury. “When Kylian Mbappé saw he would be a substitute for the Clasico, five minutes later he left training saying he was injured. Everyone was surprised,” Alberto Pereiro reportedly stated on Onda Cero.
