Real Madrid are going through a tense period, and now even a simple message from Kylian Mbappé is enough to spark huge controversy in Spain.
Absent during the Clasico defeat against FC Barcelona (0-2), the French striker still supported his teammates on Instagram with a simple “Hala Madrid” alongside a photo of the match being shown on television.

But one detail did not escape Real Madrid supporters: when the post was published, Real Madrid were already trailing 2-0 against Barça. On social media, several fans interpreted the post as an awkward mistake… or even an unintentional form of mockery from the former PSG player.
As often happens with Mbappé, the slightest publication quickly becomes a major talking point. Despite his excellent Liga season with 24 goals in 28 matches, the French star continues to attract criticism around Real Madrid.
