Election promises are piling up at Real Madrid. After links to José Mourinho, Ibrahima Konaté, Erling Haaland, Rodri, and even Vitinha, another Paris Saint-Germain player has now become a regular name in Madrid transfer speculation: João Neves.
Just days before the Spanish club’s presidential election, Florentino Pérez is reportedly searching for another blockbuster move to impress the members. Some Spanish media outlets have even claimed that João Neves sits at the very top of his wishlist.
João Neves Shows His PSG Loyalty
While the rumors continue to grow, the Portuguese midfielder found a rather amusing way to respond. Instead of making a public statement or issuing an official denial, João Neves simply shared a photoshoot taken at the Parc des Princes, dressed head-to-toe in PSG colors.
Wearing a PSG shirt, tracksuit, scarf, and even holding a club flag, Neves proudly displayed his attachment to the Parisian side. The photos looked very much like a message aimed at those already imagining him wearing Real Madrid’s famous white jersey.
It is easy to understand why the midfielder feels comfortable in Paris. A two-time European champion, an undisputed starter under Luis Enrique, and one of the fan favorites at the Parc des Princes, João Neves is thriving in an ideal environment. Meanwhile, Real Madrid’s election campaign continues to generate endless rumors and ambitious promises, but Neves appears to have chosen his side long ago: red and blue.
