Could the Mbappé brothers soon find themselves on the same side of the Pyrenees? Settled in Madrid since joining Real Madrid, Kylian Mbappé could soon welcome a familiar face to Spain in the coming months.
Will Ethan Mbappé follow Kylian to Spain? According to reports from Fichajes, Real Betis are showing strong interest in the younger Mbappé brother, who is currently playing for Lille. The Andalusian club, which has qualified for next season’s Champions League, is reportedly considering making a move this summer.
Betis Eyeing Ethan Mbappé
Betis were already impressed by the young attacking midfielder during his time at Paris Saint-Germain and have apparently never completely abandoned their interest. Head coach Manuel Pellegrini is said to value Ethan’s versatility and long-term potential.
At just 19 years old, Ethan Mbappé remains one of French football’s most promising talents despite a season disrupted by several injuries at Lille. While the northern club is not actively looking to sell him, reports suggest Lille would be willing to negotiate for around €12 million. With a contract running until 2027, that price does not appear to discourage Betis.
The key question now is what Ethan himself wants. Will he stay another season in Lille to continue his development and finally enjoy a healthy campaign, or will he embrace the Spanish adventure and move closer to his brother Kylian? Nothing has been decided yet, but the possibility of seeing the Mbappé brothers playing in the same country next season is becoming increasingly realistic.
