PSG: Barcola, Kolo Muani, Kang-in Lee… The Major Clear-Out Is Not Over Yet

Paris Saint-Germain could still experience a very busy end to the transfer window in terms of departures. After beginning to trim their squad, the French champions still have several major situations to resolve. Some players are close to leaving, while others continue to attract strong interest from across Europe.

PSG are finally clearing out their squad. After two demanding seasons, some players are exhausted, others have failed to convince, and several want to leave. Paris are therefore sorting through their options. Luis Enrique wants to retain a smaller, competitive group that is fully committed to his project. The club will not stand in the way of players with limited game time or those who no longer fit the Spanish coach’s sporting priorities.

Kang-in Lee and Kolo Muani Near the Exit

Kang-in Lee’s move to Atlético Madrid appears to be the most advanced departure. The Spanish club are expected to pay around €40 million, including bonuses, for the South Korea international. His exit would represent an excellent financial deal for PSG while freeing up space in attack, potentially allowing Paris to accelerate their pursuit of Maghnes Akliouche or another creative target. Randal Kolo Muani’s future is also highly uncertain. The French striker is no longer considered a priority by Luis Enrique, and PSG are still seeking a permanent solution. Juventus remain interested, but negotiations are being held up by the transfer fee, with Paris demanding between €50 million and €55 million.

Bradley Barcola is the most sensitive case. Although Luis Enrique values him highly, Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United are reportedly monitoring the French winger. PSG do not intend to sell him, but an exceptional offer could force the club to reconsider, with at least €150 million required to open negotiations. Several young players could also leave on loan to secure regular playing time. Gabriel Moscardo and Renato Marin have already followed this path, while other members of the reserve team could depart before the window closes. Ibrahim Mbaye, who is attracting interest from several European clubs, could also leave.

PSG now want to sell more effectively and avoid making losses on departing players. Between Kang-in Lee, Kolo Muani and a possible surprise transfer, the club could still raise more than €100 million. That money could then be used to finance the arrival of a striker, a winger and potentially another full-back. The major clear-out at the PSG Campus is therefore far from complete, and the coming weeks could dramatically reshape Luis Enrique’s squad.
