After several weeks of negotiations, Paris Saint-Germain and AS Monaco have reportedly reached a full agreement for the transfer of Maghnes Akliouche. The French attacking midfielder has also approved the terms of his move and is now closing in on signing a contract that would keep him at the club until 2031.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Akliouche is on the verge of becoming a PSG player after the two clubs agreed on a deal worth around €50 million. The transfer had become one of the Paris club’s top priorities during the summer window.
PSG Secure Their Priority Summer Target
Luis Campos had been monitoring Akliouche for months, viewing him as an ideal fit for Luis Enrique’s tactical approach thanks to his creativity, technical quality, versatility, and ability to operate across multiple attacking positions. Monaco initially demanded around €65 million plus bonuses, forcing PSG to negotiate carefully before gradually reaching a compromise on the transfer fee, add-ons, and payment structure.
Talks accelerated significantly in recent days, allowing both clubs to finalize the agreement. On the player’s side, Akliouche quickly chose PSG’s project, and personal terms have now been fully settled. The 23-year-old is expected to undergo his medical next week before officially signing a long-term contract until June 2031. Unless there is an unexpected twist, PSG are set to complete one of their biggest attacking signings of the summer while paying considerably less than Monaco’s initial asking price.
