PSG are continuing to prepare for the future. After significantly rejuvenating their squad in recent seasons, Luis Campos is reportedly keeping several profiles on his radar for upcoming transfer windows. Three names are currently emerging: JJ Gabriel, Sergio Camello and Alberto Costa. Three players in very different situations, but all potentially fitting Paris’ new recruitment policy.
Paris Saint-Germain are no longer necessarily looking to stockpile superstars. Their strategy also involves identifying young players capable of developing quickly and fitting into Luis Enrique’s project. With the January transfer window only a few months away, several potential targets are already beginning to emerge.
JJ Gabriel, Camello and Costa on PSG’s Radar
JJ Gabriel appears to represent the long-term investment. The young Manchester United player is reportedly being closely monitored by PSG, with PSGINSIDE-ACTUS claiming that discussions over his future have recently intensified. Paris are said to be trying to move ahead of the competition, although Bayern Munich are also reportedly stepping up their interest. Sergio Camello, meanwhile, could provide another attacking option. PSG are said to have approached the Rayo Vallecano striker late in the summer transfer window, and contacts could remain active ahead of January, although no offer has yet been reported.
Alberto Costa is another player PSG are reportedly continuing to monitor. According to CaughtOffside, the 23-year-old FC Porto right-back is also attracting interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City. His name is not new in Paris, as L’Équipe had already reported PSG interest in January 2026. Costa could potentially provide a specialist alternative to Achraf Hakimi, although his contract runs until 2030 and reportedly includes a €65 million release clause.
These three targets represent different approaches: Gabriel as a long-term prospect, Camello as an additional attacking option and Costa as a possible solution at right-back. However, monitoring players, holding discussions and entering genuine negotiations are very different stages of the transfer process. No offer has been reported for Costa, while the information concerning Gabriel and Camello comes primarily from PSGINSIDE-ACTUS and still requires confirmation. PSG’s next transfer window could therefore remain relatively quiet, but Campos already appears to be laying the groundwork for the next generation of young talents to develop under Luis Enrique.
