Real Madrid are moving to secure one of their brightest young talents. According to the Spanish press, Arda Güler has reached an agreement with the Madrid club to extend his contract until June 2031. The Turkey international is also set to receive a significant salary increase.
Real Madrid are already planning for the future. According to Spanish newspaper AS, Güler and the club’s hierarchy have reached an agreement to extend their partnership. The 21-year-old attacking midfielder is expected to commit his future to Real until June 2031.
Real Madrid Secure Güler’s Long-Term Future
The new deal, which comes with a pay rise, reflects Güler’s growing importance in the Madrid project. After arriving in the Spanish capital in 2023, the Turkish midfielder had to be patient before establishing himself, but his status has gradually changed and Real now want to secure his future for the long term.
The extension would also allow the Spanish giants to quickly ward off potential interest from other clubs. Güler may not be the last key player to settle his future either, with Spanish reports claiming that Thibaut Courtois could be next in line for a new agreement.
After reaching a deal with Güler, Real Madrid are therefore continuing their efforts to tie down the most important members of their squad and ensure stability for the years ahead.
