Cristiano Ronaldo is putting pressure on Marseille — and he’s not hiding it. According to Marca, the Al-Nassr star has personally requested the signing of Mason Greenwood, making the Englishman a top priority for his club’s summer transfer window.
After scoring 22 goals and delivering 6 assists in all competitions last season, Greenwood has been labelled untouchable by OM. But a massive offer from Saudi Arabia could change everything.
€80m or nothing?
Marseille are not willing to let Greenwood go easily. The French club invested €30 million in his transfer and will owe 40% of any future sale to Manchester United. That means OM will demand at least €80 million to even consider a deal.
Ronaldo, who played alongside Greenwood at Manchester United, is pushing hard to bring him to Al-Nassr. But for now, Greenwood remains fully committed to De Zerbi’s project in Marseille — and doesn’t plan on leaving Europe or giving up Champions League football.
