It’s official—FC Barcelona secures its young star! Lamine Yamal (17), who emerged as a sensation this season in La Liga (35 matches, 9 goals), has extended his contract with Barça until June 2031.
According to El Pais, Barcelona spared no expense to retain their prodigy: Yamal now holds the club’s third-highest salary behind Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong, earning an estimated €15 million per year.
Additional bonuses could increase his annual earnings to €20 million.
