World No. 1 tennis player, Jannik Sinner, pays tribute to PSG’s Gianluigi Donnarumma ahead of the Champions League final.
After a challenging winter period for Donnarumma, the criticism has subsided, and even his compatriot, Jannik Sinner, has praised the PSG goalkeeper.
Following his victory over Arthur Rinderknech at Roland Garros, the Italian tennis star took a moment to honor Donnarumma, publicly praising him. “I want to thank everyone, but especially this very special guy right here, Gigio. Thank you for coming. You have the best goalkeeper, guys. Congratulations,” Sinner said, expressing his admiration for Donnarumma, a key member of the Paris team.
Sinner, Milan Supporter… but Italian
When asked about the upcoming Champions League final between PSG and Inter Milan (May 31), Sinner, a fan of Milan AC, didn’t shy away from his loyalty but also expressed his respect for his fellow Italian.
“I don’t want to say something that puts me in a difficult position. I’m a Milan fan, but as an Italian, it would be good for an Italian team to win. But if it’s Gigio, I’d be happy,” Sinner added, hoping for a “great match” in the final.
Sinner’s comments reflect his open-mindedness, showing his love for both his country and his fellow Italian, even in this PSG vs. Inter Milan showdown.
