Nevertheless, Ceballos hesitated about making the move to Marseille and ultimately chose to delay his decision. This indecision frustrated Marseille’s management, forcing them to terminate the negotiations altogether.

While Betis Sevilla has been keen to bring Ceballos back for months, sources from COPE suggest that the Andalusian club is currently focused on pursuing other targets, specifically Antony from Manchester United. This has been corroborated by Fabrizio Romano, who noted that there have been no substantial discussions between Betis and Ceballos at this time.
