Just when it seemed he was on the verge of leaving for the French club, reports from Spain indicate that he has opted to remain at the Bernabéu for the time being. Ceballos believes that fighting for a spot at Real Madrid aligns more with his ambitions than making the leap to Ligue 1.
While the French media reported that an agreement was in place between Marseille and Real Madrid, Ceballos’s personal decision has thrown a wrench in the works.
