Heung-min Son to extend his contract with Tottenham until 2026, according to reports.

Out of contract in June 2025, Heung-min Son will continue to write his story with Tottenham. According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the Spurs have decided to activate a clause in the South Korean forward’s contract, extending his stay until June 2026.

At 32 years old, Son remains an iconic figure for the London club, despite a somewhat challenging season so far, with 5 goals in 17 Premier League appearances. This extension, agreed upon by both parties last month, represents a mutual show of confidence, even as the player navigates a more difficult patch in his career.

For the Spurs’ management, this decision highlights the importance of the South Korean national team captain, not only for his on-field contributions but also for his presence in the locker room. It is also a reaffirmation of their commitment to a player who has shaped the club’s recent history with his performances and unwavering dedication.

With this extension, Tottenham secures one of their offensive cornerstones during a period when stability will be crucial to achieving the ambitious goals set for the season.
