Manchester United fans can breathe a sigh of relief—Jim Ratcliffe, co-owner of the Red Devils, has reassured them that the club will not conduct a fire sale during the summer transfer window.

Despite financial struggles and disappointing investments, Manchester United is not looking to sell players to balance the books. The club recently laid off between 150 and 200 employees, but Ratcliffe insists that transfers will be made solely to strengthen the squad, not to generate funds.

“No, no. We will not be selling players due to financial constraints,” Ratcliffe stated. “The club had become too big, so we have reduced staff and will finalize an efficient and streamlined organization.
