Despite being available for €60 million due to his release clause, Real Madrid has denied any ongoing links with the 22-year-old from Athletic Club.
Sources close to Madrid confirmed that there is no intention to sign Williams this summer. While the player is admired by the club, Madrid’s current priority is securing a deal for Álvaro Carreras, not Williams.
