Kevin De Bruyne to Napoli — contract details have leaked. Released by Manchester City and now a free agent, Kevin De Bruyne is preparing to start a new chapter in Serie A.
According to Sky Italia, the Belgian maestro is set to sign a two-year deal with Napoli, with an option for a third season. The agreement is nearly finalized, with only a few details left to iron out.
His total salary will reach €17 million (excluding the signing bonus): €6 million per year for the first two seasons, and €5 million for the optional third. That’s a steep drop from the €25 million he earned annually at City.
The medical is scheduled after the international break, as De Bruyne is currently with the Belgian national team under coach Rudi Garcia. A major coup in the making for Napoli, who are landing one of football’s greats.
