Despite the jubilant celebrations following PSG’s emphatic Champions League final win on Saturday night in Munich, the Allianz Arena pitch will be ready to host the Nations League later this week.

“Missing chunks near the goal”

Still, some concerns linger within the German camp — especially from goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen, who has just returned from a major injury. “There are missing chunks near the goalmouth. It’s not ideal for footing, and the injury risk is real,” he warned.

Meanwhile, UEFA is not taking the chaos lightly. A hefty fine is reportedly being prepared for PSG due to the material damage and repeated violations of competition rules (pitch invasion, flares, political banner). One thing is clear: PSG’s celebration left its mark — and not just on club history.
