Paris Saint-Germain are already preparing for life after Gianluigi Donnarumma. With no agreement in sight for a contract extension and just one year left on his deal, the Italian goalkeeper is expected to leave the club this summer.
Top clubs like Real Madrid, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich are all reportedly interested. According to Le Parisien, PSG have identified Lucas Chevalier as their No.1 option to replace him.
The 23-year-old Lille goalkeeper, who made 48 appearances this past season, has been under PSG’s radar for months. However, the Ligue 1 side is demanding €70 million for their star shot-stopper — now also France’s number two behind Maignan.
A tough deal, but PSG haven’t given up yet. If Donnarumma departs, the Chevalier move could accelerate fast.
