Chelsea aren’t giving up on Mike Maignan. After having their initial €15 million (£12.7m) offer rejected by AC Milan, the Blues have returned with a revised bid of €21 million (£17.8m), according to Sky Italia.
The French international, who played 53 matches this season, is still regarded as one of the elite goalkeepers in Europe. Milan had considered the first offer far below expectations, but the new figure might trigger serious talks.
If Milan give the green light, Chelsea would be pulling off a major move in the transfer window. A decision could come within hours.
