Kylian Mbappé

Kylian Mbappé will not feature for Real Madrid this Sunday against Pachuca in Charlotte. The French star is still recovering from a severe bout of gastroenteritis and remains sidelined for the second matchday of the Club World Cup.

No Mbappé yet for Xabi Alonso

After a frustrating 1–1 draw against Al-Hilal, Madrid manager Xabi Alonso will once again be without his marquee summer signing. The squad still boasts big names — Courtois, Rüdiger, Modrić, Bellingham, Valverde, Tchouaméni, Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo — as well as new arrivals Trent Alexander-Arnold and Dean Huijsen.

Real Madrid under pressure

After dropping points in their opening fixture, Los Blancos need a win to keep control of their Group B destiny. Missing their star striker makes the mission tougher, but the return of senior players could provide the boost needed.
