Paul Pogba is getting closer to joining AS Monaco — but under strict financial conditions. The club is making it clear: no extravagant perks, no special treatment.

The 32-year-old midfielder successfully completed the first part of his medical on Friday, bringing him closer to a return to Ligue 1. His clear objective? Get back in top shape for the 2026 World Cup.

Monaco sets the financial tone

According to sources, Pogba’s salary will be capped at €320,000 gross per month, in line with the club’s top earners. The message from the Principality is simple: Monaco won’t disrupt its dressing room for a big name, even one with Pogba’s profile and market impact.
