Kepa Arrizabalaga is officially an Arsenal player. The Spanish goalkeeper (30) has signed with the Gunners after leaving Chelsea, with the transfer announced this Tuesday. Multiple English outlets report a fee close to €6 million.
After a solid loan spell at Bournemouth (35 appearances), Kepa makes the switch across London, ending a mixed spell at Chelsea, where he arrived in 2018 for a record €80 million from Athletic Bilbao. Despite flashes of brilliance, he never truly secured his place as first-choice keeper.

The Spain international (13 caps) also spent the 2023–2024 season on loan at Real Madrid (20 games), gaining valuable experience.
At Arsenal, Kepa will compete with fellow Spaniard David Raya (29). Speaking on his arrival, Kepa said: “The ambition of this club, the conversations with Mikel [Arteta] and Iñaki [Cana], their desire to win… I feel we’re very close to something great and, hopefully, we’ll achieve it together.”
