Paris Saint-Germain booked their place in the Club World Cup semi-finals with a hard-fought 2–0 win over Bayern Munich this Saturday in Atlanta. In a tense and chaotic match, the Parisians made the difference in the second half thanks to goals from Désiré Doué (78′) and Ousmane Dembélé (90+6′), despite finishing the game with only nine men.

From the start, Bayern applied heavy pressure, dominating possession and forcing PSG onto the back foot. Gianluigi Donnarumma made several key saves, notably denying Olise and keeping out a tricky cross from Pavlovic. PSG stayed resilient and threatened on the counter through Doué, Kvaratskhelia, and Fabian Ruiz, though their finishing lacked precision.

The second half saw Bayern continue to push, but PSG held strong. Substituted on in the 70th minute, Dembélé initially missed a golden opportunity, before Doué broke the deadlock with a low strike past Neuer (1–0). Tensions flared as Pacho was shown a straight red for a rough challenge on Goretzka, followed minutes later by Lucas Hernandez, sent off for elbowing Guerreiro.

Even two men down, PSG struck again in stoppage time. Hakimi pulled off a dazzling run, beating two defenders before setting up Dembélé, who made no mistake this time (2–0).

The Bavarians had a goal and a penalty overturned by VAR, but couldn’t find a breakthrough. PSG, reigning European champions, now advance to face Real Madrid or Borussia Dortmund in the semis.
