Real Madrid’s pre-season has taken a hit with two troubling updates: Endrick has suffered a setback, and Trent Alexander-Arnold is also dealing with a leg issue.
The nightmare continues for 18-year-old Endrick. After picking up a hamstring injury in late May, the Brazilian starlet missed the Club World Cup and was expected to return soon.
However, The Athletic reports that Endrick has relapsed and will be out for several more weeks. It’s a frustrating start to life in Madrid for the youngster, who’s yet to make his official debut.
Discomfort in his right leg
And the bad news doesn’t stop there. Trent Alexander-Arnold, a recent arrival from Liverpool, is also facing a fitness scare. The right-back is set to undergo medical tests in Madrid after feeling discomfort in his right leg. The club is now awaiting results to assess the extent of the injury.
With the 2025-26 season fast approaching, Xabi Alonso already has injury concerns piling up — far from the ideal scenario for the new Real Madrid boss.
