Tottenham Hotspur has firmly stated it is not for sale despite the recent resignation of Daniel Levy, the club’s long-standing president.

Levy, who held the position for 24 years, stepped down unexpectedly, leading to speculation about the club’s future ownership. In a statement released on Sunday, the London club clarified that it has received several expressions of interest for a full takeover but has rejected all of them unequivocally.

The Spurs remain under the ownership of ENIC Group, which holds a majority stake of 85.55%. This announcement aims to quell rumors of a potential era change following Levy’s departure. The club emphasizes its commitment to its existing ownership structure, despite the upheaval in leadership.

Tottenham’s recent achievements include a Europa League final victory against Manchester United last May, where they won 1-0. However, the club had a disappointing Premier League season, finishing in a concerning 17th place. Levy’s exit was partly due to criticism from some supporters regarding the team’s performance during his tenure.

Tottenham Not for Sale… For Now

Peter Charrington has now taken on the role of non-executive chairman, marking the beginning of a new chapter for the club. Despite this leadership change, Tottenham remains steadfast in its decision not to pursue any sale options at this time, maintaining continuity in its management strategy.

The club’s clear stance on ownership comes at a time when fans are eager for positive changes following a challenging season. With the current leadership in place, Tottenham is focused on building a stronger future while ensuring that the club remains under the guidance of its longstanding majority shareholder.
