The Champions League draw handed PSG a nightmare path with Bayern, Barcelona, Tottenham, Newcastle, Bilbao, Leverkusen, Atalanta, and Sporting Lisbon on the schedule. For the Parisians, every game looks like a battle.
Injuries only add to the uncertainty. Luis Enrique himself is recovering, while Ousmane Dembélé and Désiré Doué remain doubts for the trip to Spain.
Yet the real question surrounds the venue. PSG wants their October 1 clash to be held at Camp Nou, but with the stadium still under construction, nothing is confirmed. UEFA has told Barça it must stage a Liga game there first to prove it’s ready.
According to RAC1, part of the works could be wrapped up within ten days. If the permits go through, PSG could be the first big visitor in Camp Nou’s return. Barça, meanwhile, is betting on Gavi’s recovery to be ready for the Paris challenge.
