Bernard Arnault just keeps climbing… at least in the rankings. The majority shareholder of Paris FC saw his fortune skyrocket again in October: +$23 billion in a single month, reaching a colossal $183 billion.
The result? The LVMH boss is now 7th richest person in the world, according to Forbes. Not bad for someone who’s only just discovering Ligue 1 with Paris FC.
Who’s to thank? The luxury empire, of course. With nearly 70 brands, Louis Vuitton, Dior, Moët, Tiffany & Co… LVMH enjoyed a very comfortable October, while Paris FC battles through its first steps in Ligue 1. Clearly, not everyone has the same weekend pressure.
World’s richest man in 2023 and 2024
The world’s richest man in 2023 and again early 2024 may no longer hold the crown in 2025, but don’t worry about him. At 76, Arnault remains a global heavyweight, backed by an entire family running the empire… and now a football club in Paris, just to tick another box.
As of November 1st, Arnault sits inside the global top 10, ahead of Ballmer and Dell, but still behind Brin, Page and Bezos. And miles behind Elon Musk and his absurd $497 billion fortune.
Even for Bernard Arnault, there’s always someone richer.
