The former PSG player and especially former coach of Juventus Turin, Thiago Motta, is looking for a position in Serie A. He has found one, but it is still occupied by a coach who is under threat.
Free since his departure from Juventus in March, Thiago Motta could soon return to a coaching role. According to Foot Mercato, the former Bologna coach wants to relaunch his career in Serie A, but only at a club with European ambitions. In this regard, Atalanta Bergamasca is at the top of his list.
This lead is not new: Motta and Atalanta had already exchanged ideas last summer after Gian Piero Gasperini left for Roma. Today, the situation could accelerate again.
Motta seeks Europe
Ivan Juric is weakened after the heavy defeat against Sassuolo (0-3), and a change is not excluded. If Juric were to be dismissed, Motta would be ready to return to the negotiation table.
