Once again defeated in the final seconds by PSG (2-3), Lyon not only lost points: the club also lost patience. In the mixed zone, Corentin Tolisso did not hide his frustration regarding what he considers to be a buildup of refereeing errors.

Lyon: Tolisso cracks and denounces the refereeing level. The referees, as they do almost every weekend, are taking the heat. This time, it’s OL that is letting loose. And Corentin Tolisso is not the last to complain.

“We need to do better with refereeing in general; there are mistakes every weekend,” said the very annoyed Lyon captain. What we were told at the beginning of the season is not being applied.”

Tolisso believes that OL is paying “very dearly” for this inconsistency but adds that “it’s not the only club.” On Instagram, he reinforced his point: “It’s not just the players who need to be at their best level.”
