With half the squad in the treatment room, PSG are accelerating their hunt for a world-class striker, and Victor Osimhen has suddenly jumped to the top of the list. According to Fichajes, Paris are prepared to put €150 million on the table to land the Nigerian superstar.
The timing says everything. Hakimi is out for nearly two months, Dembélé is sidelined, Nuno Mendes has relapsed, and Désiré Doué won’t return before January. Vitinha, Neves, Ruiz and Barcola are running on empty. Luis Enrique is juggling lineups, shifting defenders out of position, and pushing academy prospects into urgent roles.
In this crisis, Osimhen has become more than a target, he’s a solution.
With 46 goals in 52 appearances, the Galatasaray striker is arguably one of Europe’s deadliest finishers. PSG want to beat out Barcelona and hand Luis Enrique a true No.9 capable of changing the entire dynamic of the team.
And despite Enrique previously downplaying the idea, circumstances have shifted. With the attack depleted and Paris in survival mode, the Osimhen operation now looks less like a long-term project… and more like a necessity.
The Lyon match is tense, the squad is stretched thin, and the transfer window is already buzzing. January could be explosive, on the pitch, and on the balance sheet.
